Nellie and Daughters of God
Daughters of God was initially supposed to be a CD with four women on it. This is what Jessica Alles-Smith (the other initial proposal writer) and I had in mind. But Tom Tomaszek and Sarah Hart (Oregon Catholic Press) had other ideas and today it's more than Jess and I could ever have hoped for. Thanks guys!
Daughter of God Retreat - A huge Success!
MVE has some auxiliary members. Together with these women I developed a retreat which inspired my idea for a Catholic woman's CD which later became the Daughters CD. The retreat is appropriately entitled "Daughter of God ~ Woman's Retreat." This one day experience involves calling women of all ages to say "yes" to their vocation whatever that may be. We've found that no matter what your calling is in life as women we are all called to Spiritual Motherhood. The Daughter of God retreat helps us to understand the call of Mary Visiting Elizabeth and live it out.
